CABARET RETURNS TO CHELSEA

Colm Reilly and Shane Mathews are very excited to announce that they are opening a new restaurant in the Chelsea area of Manhattan, HELEN'S RESTAURANT, CABARET & PIANO LOUNGE (169 Eighth Avenue, NYC - 212-206-0609 - phone working after March 1st). Located between 18th & 19th Streets, the club will be the home of the 70-seat "Hideaway Room @ Helen's" cabaret, and will feature a brand new, state of the art sound and lighting system, a brand new grand piano, and a garden view. A full menu that will fit all budgets will be available. Reservations can be made from 11:00 am to 2:00 am, and the room will also be available for private parties and corporate events. Performers will enjoy a luxurious, full service star dressing room with full bath.

There will also be a piano lounge in an intimate setting with a separate high-quality sound and lighting system, a beautiful bar made of dark wood, marble and granite, an antique Parisian bus stop filled with plants and lights, elegant, antique French chandeliers, and a brand new upright piano. A beautifully decorated 25 seat dining room called "The Candlelight Room" will be tucked between the piano lounge and the "Hideaway Room," where one can enjoy a full menu of upscale comfort food, an extensive wine list, and comfortable, cozy ambiance created by unique table settings and candle holders, and soft, inviting candlelight.

Colm Reilly will serve as General Manager & Booking Agent, with Shane Mathews as Manager, Special Events Booking Agent and Technical Director. They will serve under the watchful eye of Patrick Reilly, who has over 40 years of hospitality experience. Colm and Shane hope to create a space for a wide array of talented performers to entertain in an exciting, friendly and supportive environment.
