"Free to be Me - Our Songs... Our Stories" Benefit at HELEN'S

A cabaret benefit show on behalf of BROADWAY CARES/EQUITY FIGHTS AIDS (http://www.bcefa.org/ ), "Free to be Me - Our Songs... Our Stories," will be presented by Joseph John Productions on Monday, June 21st at 8:00 pm, at HELEN'S RESTAURANT, CABARET & PIANO LOUNGE (169 Eighth Avenue, NYC - 212-206-0609). This evening of gay cabaret kicks off a week-long Gay Pride celebration. The show features four gentlemen: Broadway veteran Lawrence Merritt, cabaret performers Chuck Klotz and Rick Peets and newcomer Gregory Couba. Also performing and directing is Evy Scheff. Musical Directoris Bryant Keller. There is a$15 cash cover/donation and a $15 food/drink minimum. Dinner seating begins at 6:30 pm.

The proceeds from "Free To Be Me" will benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids, the nation's leading industry-based Aids fundraising organization, distributing funds to over 400 Aids service organizations across the United States.
