FIELDS OF GOLD at Le Dome at THE MANOR

Award-winning vocalist Barbara Fasano kicks off the 2004 Cabaret Soiree season at LE DOME at The Manor (111 Prospect Avenue, West Orange, NJ - 973-731-2360 - http://themanorrestaurant.com/). She brings her critically acclaimed new show "FIELDS OF GOLD" to Le Dome for one evening only, on Thursday, January 22nd at 9:00 pm. Longtime collaborator and Musical Director, Rick Jensen is at the piano. Four-course dinner and show packages are available for $69. Show-only seats are also available.

"FIELDS OF GOLD" played to full houses and enthusiastic audiences from August to October, both at The Duplex Cabaret Theatre in New York City and the Monroe Theatre at Hofstra University. The show features music by diverse songwriters such as Sting, Gershwin, Cole Porter, Dorothy Fields, Jerome Kern, Bruce Springsteen and Duke Ellington.

Actress and singer, Barbara is the recipient of the 2003 Hofstra University George M. Estabrook Alumni Achievement Award, given to Hofstra Alumni who have distinguished themselves in their chosen field. Previous recipients include Francis Ford Coppola, Madeline Kahn and Lainie Kazan. She is a MAC Award nominee and the recipient of 2 Back Stage Bistro Awards for Outstanding Vocalist and Outstanding Recording (THE GIRLS OF SUMMER.)

Other recordings include a previously released self-titled CD, and the cast recording of THE BROADWAY MUSICALS OF 1964. Barbara is also a vocalist on jazz trumpeter Rick Henly's recent album, CHRISTMAS PRESENT. Barbara recently appeared in the world premier of the newly revised WHAT MAKES SAMMY RUN? As a pop/jazz vocalist, she has appeared at the Oak Room at the Algonquin Hotel, Sardi's, The FireBird Cafe, and the Triad, the Cinegrill in Los Angeles, Odette's in New Hope, Pennsylvania, and in 2000, premiered her show "In The Still of the Night" at The Manor in New Jersey. For the Mabel Mercer Foundation's Cabaret Conventions she has been featured at Town Hall in NYC, and The Prince Music Theater in Philadelphia.
