Jane Dexter brings her all new show, "Bread and Gravy," to HELEN'S
RESTAURANT, CABARET & PIANO LOUNGE (169 Eighth Avenue, NYC - 212-206-0609

), in the heart of Chelsea, for a 5-week run of Thursdays, Fridays
and Saturdays for 15 performances only, beginning November 18th. All
shows are at 9:15 pm. She is joined by her long-time musical director
Ross Patterson. Among the various material included in the show will
be songs by Cole Porter, Joni Mitchell, George and Ira Gershwin, Duke
Ellington, Mick Jagger and Rod McKuen. There will be a $25 music charge
and a $15 minimum.
One of cabarets
most acclaimed artists, Baby Jane Dexter has been repeatedly honored
by MAC (Manhattan Association of Cabarets & Clubs - http://www.macnyc.com/
) receiving their coveted MAC Award five times. Ms. Dexter sings the
title song in the feature documentary, "If I Could," narrated by Sally
Field, which will air on Discovery Health Channel in 2005.
Most recently
Baby Jane sang at Central Park's SummerStage, headlined THE ROYAL
ROOM at The Colony Hotel (155 Hammond Avenue, Palm Beach, FL - 561-655-5430

); and was featured in mid-October at The Riviera Theater in Charleston,
SC at the prestigious TEDMED conference where, among other things,
she presented her brand of musical healing leading into a presentation
by Quincy Jones.
