THE WARWICK VALLEY WINERY, DISTILLERY AND ORCHARDS (114 Little York Road in Warwick, NY - 845-258-4858 - http://www.wvwinery.com/ ) will present the duo of Sarah DeLeo and Marcelo Cardozo for an afternoon of Jazz on Saturday, May 22nd from 2:00 to 5:00 pm. Ms. DeLeo will perform a program of standards from composers Duke Ellington and Cole Porter among others, in addition to new works from songwriters such as Erin McKeown. The concert is free. The winery is now open daily from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Influenced by performers such as Ella Fitzgerald, Aretha Franklin, and Judy Garland, Sarah DeLeo puts a fresh spin on jazz and pop standards and interprets contemporary songs with her own distinctive style. Ms. DeLeo is a regular performer at KAVEHAZ (37 West 26th Street, NYC - 212-343-0612) and has also appeared at the New York City venues Chez Suzette, Caffe Taci, and Blue Water Grill. This will be her first performance at the Warwick Valley Winery.

This concert is part of the Uncorked and Unplugged Music Series, a free series that showcases local performers every Saturday and Sunday afternoons throughout the year. All afternoon music events feature wine tasting and the delights of the Warwick Valley Winery bakery, which are prepared by its CIA chefs.
