Tom D'Angora returns with revised "Divas I've Done"

In preparation for 5-Week LA engagement

2004 Backstage Bistro Award Winner for Outstanding Musical Comedy, Tom D'Angora, who received much acclaim for his debut show, "Divas I've Done," returns to the DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 1-212-757-0788 - http://www.donttellmama.com/ ) stage for a special one-night-only NY performance on Sunday, November 7th at 8:00 pm. The show, re-titled "Divas Re-Done" for returning NY audiences, will feature a revised script, added songs, and more jokes than ever before. All of this is in anticipation for Tom's upcoming five week run in Los Angeles, CA that plays every Wednesday and Sunday night at THE ROOM 5 LOUNGE (143 North La Brea Street, Los Angeles, CA) starting on November 17th. The show is directed by Michael Duling. There is a $15 cover and 2 drink minimum; cash only. $10 cover for CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE Members.

"Diva's I've Done" not only features Tom D'Angora's talent as an energetic performer but as a skilled comedic writer of dialogue and parody as well. Featured in the show are Stephanie Harwood, Kate Pazakis, and Noel Cody as Princess Diana. The revised show will still celebrate some of Tom's favorite women growing up through tributes, songs, parodies, and unforgettable anecdotes. However this time the show will focus on slightly more mainstream, yet still fabulous, divas like: Jane Wyman of TV's Falcon Crest, The Queen of Hearts Princess Diana, The Nanny named Fran Drescher, every one's favorite Audrey Ellen Greene, Broadway legend Liza Minnelli, and a special mystery diva to be revealed each week!

In the past Tom has worn many hats ... he wowed audiences as the young standout in the highly controversial Provincetown production of "Naked Boys Singing!", became every one's favorite flyer boy/promoter with his successful marketing company at TKTS, created a cult following as the "Copacabana Boy" at ELLEN'S STARDUST DINER, and even acted as the Executive Producer on Ellen Greene's CD!

However, it is with "Divas I've Done" that Tom has earned the most recognition. Playbill Online honored him as one of last years "Leading Men" and listed one of Tom's hilarious parodies ("Somewhere That's Pink") as one of the year's best musical moments, while Backstage awarded him their Bistro Award for Outstanding Musical Comedy.
