ENTER THE NOVEMBER NEBULA WITH MYCHELLE

Mychelle Colleary brings her acclaimed show "Enter the NOVEMBER NEBULA with Shirley Temple's EVIL TWIN" back to THE DUPLEX CABARET THEATRE (61 Christopher Street, NYC - 1-212-255-5438 - http://www.theduplex.com/ ) on Thursdays at 7:00 pm, with remaining shows on the 11th & 18th of November. She is joined by John DePinto on piano, Ritt Henn on bass and special guest John DePalma. There is a $15 cover, 2-drink minimum. $10 cover for members of CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE.

This is Mychelle's second annual jazz tinseled aperitif for the holiday season, giving Macy's a run for the money in beating them to the holiday crunch! Mychelle spruces up the drab, gray month of November with her expected, eclectic cross- section of songs by Irving Berlin, Dietz & Schwartz, David Friedman, Frank Loesser, Johnny Mercer, Joni Mitchell, Erv Raible, Harold Rome, Hank Williams, and The Therapy Sisters.

Enter the November Nebula returns on the heels of Mychelle's 2004 MAC Award nomination for Outstanding Jazz Vocalist; her critically acclaimed shows A Francophile Celebrates Bastille Day, A Francophile Celebrates la Fete de Tous les Jours, From Alcatraz To SingSing and her New York debut show What If The Hokey Pokey IS What It's All About?; a 2003 MAC Award nomination for Outstanding Debut, and the bi-coastal release of her second CD After Hours At The Plush Room.

Before moving here from San Francisco Mychelle hosted the on-going Song of the Month Club at MARTUNI'S (4 Valencia Street, San Francisco, CA - 415-241-0205), and performed with the female vocal trio The Kitchenettes. Mychelle has shared the stage with such jazz greats as Bobby McFerrin, Richie Cole, Claire Fisher, and Carl Anderson. Bay Area Audiences have heard Mychelle perform folk-rock music at the Fillmore, Turkish Sufi music at the Palace of Fine Arts, and Bach with the San Jose Symphony Orchestra. Mychelle's original songs can be found on her debut CD Analgesic, released in 1999.
