"BROADWAY: THE GOLDEN AGE" PREMIERS IN NYC & LA-

The award-winning documentary film BROADWAY: THE GOLDEN AGE is previewed on Monday, June 7th (red carpet opening) at the LOEW'S 42ND STREET THEATRES (42nd Street at Eighth Avenue, NYC) as a benefit for the National Hemophilia Foundation. The benefit was SOLD OUT, but the film will open in theatres around the country and in NYC at THE ANGELIKA FILM CENTER (Houston Street at Mercer Street, NYC - http://moviefone.com/ ) on Friday, June 11th 5:00 & 7:45 pm, Saturday, June 12th at 5:00 & 7:45 pm, and Sunday, June 13th at 7:45 pm. It will also be shown at THE SUTTON 1 & 2 (57th Street at Third Avenue, NYC - http://moviefone.com/ ) on Friday, Saturday & Sunday, June 11th, 12th & 13th at 7:00 pm.

On July 2nd, BROADWAY: THE GOLDEN AGE will open at the premiere theatre for independent film in the Los Angeles area with a run at the LAEMMEL SUNSET FIVE on Sunset Boulevard. There will also be question and answer sessions with director Rick McKay and surprise guest stars from the film after the performances!

It is the only movie that chronicles the great white way, with over 100 interviews of Broadway stars and clips of their Broadway shows by Emmy winning producer/director/writer Rick McKay. The film is produced by Albert M. Tapper, and Georgia Frontiere is Executive Producer. Co-producers are Jamie deRoy & Anne L. Bernstein, with Associate Producers Jack Coco, Sandi Durell, Jane Klain and Richard Weigle. It has achieved 3 1/2 out of 4 stars in the latest issue of ROLLING STONE MAGAZINE and been an award winner at all the film festivals where entered.
