Boulevard East Opens Odette's 2004 Cabaret Season

The vocal trio Boulevard East (Beth Covell, Christopher Howatt and Dana Merritt) will open the 2004 Cabaret season in the newly refurbished CABARET at Odette's (South River Road, New Hope, PA - 215-862-3000 - http://www.bobegan.net/Odettes.html) with an elegant evening of music on Saturdays, January 24th & 31st at 8:00 pm. There is a $17 cover, $12 food/drink minimum for wach show.

The show on the 24th will include some works by the tried and true, such as Harold Arlen and Rodgers & Hart, the contemporary and well-known, such as Kander and Ebb, Maltby and Shire and William Finn, & features the talents of singer/songwriter Michael Holland both as composer and arranger. The amazing, multi-award winning Julie Reyburn will join the trio to sing a few tunes of her own and a special four-part harmony number.

The show on the 31st features intricate three-part harmony, charming duets and beautiful solos. Boulevard East will be performing their favorite standards from the 30s & 40s this evening including music from their forthcoming CD, "Timeless." The songs will range from Cole Porter to Hoagy Carmichael; from Nat King Cole to The Andrew Sisters; from bluesy ballads to Broadway
