Neil Berg Salutes 100 Years of Broadway

Neil Berg presents his much lauded tribute to the Great White Way, 100 YEARS OF BROADWAY, at the newly renovated 800-seat TARRYTOWN MUSIC HALL (13 Main Street, Tarrytown, NY - 914-631-3390 - http://www.tarrytownmusichall.org/ ) on Saturday, May 15th at 8:00 pm. Mr. Berg's Broadway star-studded musical theatre salutes have been performed at The Rainbow Room and China Club in NYC, The Phoenician in Phoenix, The Breakers in West Palm Beach, as well as venues throughout the world, featuring such musical theatre superstars as Michael Crawford, Betty Buckley, And Ben Vereen. Tickets $35 to $75.

Continuing his long collaboration with Mr. Berg, starring in this latest version of 100 YEARS OF BROADWAY is Robert Evan, known for his thrilling portrayal of the title characters in JEKYLL & HYDE and his current turn as The Dancin' Kid in Off-Broadway's JOHNNY GUITAR. Also starring in this cavalcade of Broadway's best and brightest is Papermill Playhouse star Glory Crampton (CAMELOT, CAROUSEL, MY FAIR LADY, PHANTOM, THE STUDENT PRINCE). In addition to Mr. Evan (LES MISERABLES, THE PRINCE AND THE PAUPER, DANCE OF THE VAMPIRES, CHESS IN CONCERT, THREEPENNY OPERA, HOT MIKADO) and Ms. Crampton, this special evening features a vocal powerhouse group of Broadway veterans including William Michals (BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, LES MISERABLES, THE SCARLET PIMPERNEL) Jeri Sager (LES MISERABLES), Michel Lanning (THE CIVIL WAR), Angela Covington (EVITA), Danny Zolli (JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, CHESS IN CONCERT), Bart Shatto (LES MISERABLES, THE CIVIL WAR, FINNEGAN'S FAREWELL), Robin Irwin (DANCE OF THE VAMPIRES, TITANIC), Roosevelt Credit (SHOW BOAT), Charles Bergell (THE PRINCE AND THE PAUPER), and John Patrick Schutz (MAC Award nominee). The roster of performers signing on for this fantastic concert continues to grow every day.

Neil Berg, producing artistic director of concert series in New York City and Nyack, NY, also served as producer of the memorable BC/EFA CHESS IN CONCERT performances. Many theatre-goers know him as composer of the recent Off-Broadway family hit, THE PRINCE AND THE PAUPER, as well as THE MAN WHO WOULD BE KING, TIM: A NEW MUSICAL, and THE LIFE AND RHYMES OF FIONA GANDER. An added bonus of the Tarrytown concert will be ringing in Mr. Berg's 40th birthday.
