Back

to the New York scene with his trio, ACID CABARET, at a wonderful
new music club called RONDURE (24 Prince Street, NYC - 212-219-3585).
They'll do 2 sets on Friday, May 7th from 8:00 to 11:00 pm. Joining
Ed will be Sue Williams on bass and Don Guinta on drums. There is
a nominal cover charge. This very popular restaurant is know for its
Euro-eclectic Russian menu and great food.
Ed Alstrom
and Acid Cabaret burst onto the scene this past year in his critically
acclaimed New York debut. After receiving the Back Stage Bistro award
and a MAC Nomination for Best Male Debut, Alstrom went on to music-direct
and play in the last summer's run of "Dream A Little Dream: The Mamas
& Papas Musical" at the Village Theater, and played in "Caroline,
or Change" at the Public Theater. He is currently playing the organ
on Saturdays and Sundays for a certain major league baseball team
that plays in the South Bronx.
Ed has performed
with Bette Midler, Chuck Berry, Steely Dan, Leonard Bernstein, Herbie
Hancock, Zubin Mehta, Lou Rawls, and many other notables.
