ED ALSTROM & ACID CABARET AT RONDURE

Back Stage Bistro Award winning pianist/singer/songwriter Ed Alstrom returns to the New York scene with his trio, ACID CABARET, at a wonderful new music club called RONDURE (24 Prince Street, NYC - 212-219-3585). They'll do 2 sets on Friday, May 7th from 8:00 to 11:00 pm. Joining Ed will be Sue Williams on bass and Don Guinta on drums. There is a nominal cover charge. This very popular restaurant is know for its Euro-eclectic Russian menu and great food.

Ed Alstrom and Acid Cabaret burst onto the scene this past year in his critically acclaimed New York debut. After receiving the Back Stage Bistro award and a MAC Nomination for Best Male Debut, Alstrom went on to music-direct and play in the last summer's run of "Dream A Little Dream: The Mamas & Papas Musical" at the Village Theater, and played in "Caroline, or Change" at the Public Theater. He is currently playing the organ on Saturdays and Sundays for a certain major league baseball team that plays in the South Bronx.

Ed has performed with Bette Midler, Chuck Berry, Steely Dan, Leonard Bernstein, Herbie Hancock, Zubin Mehta, Lou Rawls, and many other notables.
