Clark Warren at DANNY'S in "Perchance to Theme"

Clark Warren returns with a new show "Perchance to Theme" on July 10th, 17th and 24th at 7:00 pm at DANNY'S SKYLIGHT ROOM (342 West 46th Street, NYC - 1-212-265-8133 - http://www.dannysgrandseapalace.com/), his sixth return engagement. Pamela Palmieri will be his extra special guest on the 17th and 24th. To theme or not to theme is the question that Clark answers with accessible pop-jazz style and originality with treats from the likes of Anthony Newley, Stephen Sondheim, Phil Silvers, Irving Berlin, from Dave Frishberg to Jerome Kern and Dorothy Fields.

Clark's business card simply reads "Voice" since working that instrument has always been his only business. From major brand TV voice overs, to his six years in Manhattan cabaret, to his debut appearance at New York's Birdland, Clark has shared a lifetime of entertaining, on Broadway, on radio, TV and nightclubs with appreciative reviewers and fans. He was among those who were to open at JUDY'S CHELSEA after that cabaret unexpectedly closed.

Triple threat Frank Underwood, who regularly accompanies Clark, again dons his Musical Director's hat for "PERCHANCE TO THEME." Pianist, composer, song writer, Mr. Underwood also can be found at the keyboard every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evening at La Rivista on Restaurant Row. His Broadway show "Lovely Ladies, Kind Gentlemen" (based on "Tea House of the August Moon"), music and lyrics with Stan Freeman, played the Majestic Theater in 1970. His original songs have been recorded by Lena Horn, Sammy Davis, Jr., Carol Slone, Robert Goulet and Blossom Dearie among many others.
