JUDE
TREDER-WOLFF'S "WHISTLING IN THE DARK" RETURNS
Singer
and comedienne Jude Treder-Wolff returns with her show "Whistling
In The Dark" to DANNY'S SKYLIGHT ROOM (342 West 46th Street, NYC -
1-212-265-8133 - http://www.dannysgrandseapalace.com/)
on Sundays, February 2nd & 16th at 4:00 pm and Sunday, February 9th
at 2:00 pm. There will be a $15.00 music charge and a $10.00 food/drink
minimum.
Jude's most recent critical
acclaim comes from her "Whistling In The Dark" shows at Judy's Chelsea,
Danny's and Houston's Ovations Cabaret benefiting the Southeast Community
Center. Previous acclaim came from her shows "Evolving At The Speed
Of Life" and "Love ... And Other Forms of Transportation;" and her
AIDS musical theater piece "For Some Time," based on the AIDS memorial
quilt; and her awareness of the discrimination that AIDS patients
suffer.
"For Some Time" was created
with assistance from a New York Foundation for the Arts grant, toured
the New York area, and raised money for the local chapters of the
Names Project. Additional theater credits include Hesione in "Triumph
of Love," Anna in "Baltimore Waltz," Dr. Charlotte in "Falsettos,"
Sonia in "They're Playing Our Song," and various roles in "All In
The Timing."
