Denise Tomasello In First Chicago Cabaret Performance in Over 3 Years

Having returned to her hometown, Denise Tomasello will be performing her one-woman show at DAVENPORT'S Piano Bar & Cabaret (1383 North Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago, IL - 773-278-1830 - http://www.davenportspianobar.com/), Thursday through Sunday, May 21st through 25th, as part of DAVENPORT'S "Diva Month" cabaret concert series that also includes Broadway stars Karen Mason, Neely Smith and Sharon McKnight. Showtime is 8:00 pm (7:00 pm on Sunday). There is a $15 cover and two-drink minimum.

Returning to the Chicago scene after a three-year absence, Denise had moved to Los Angeles, where she became a favorite, touring the west-coast nightclub circuit performing at famous clubs such as Hollywood's Roosevelt Hotel CINEGRILL and the TATOU in Beverly Hills.

An evening with Denise Tomasello entitled "The Songs I Love To Sing," will feature some of the entertainer's signature songs. Denise will also introduce many new songs that audiences have never heard her perform, as well as engaging the crowd with patter and stories that should make each night a special experience.

Tomasello earned a After Dark Award for "Outstanding Cabaret Performer," having headlined with legendary entertainers Don Rickles, Jackie Mason and Alan King. She has performed on many of the nation's prestigious stages and swank nightclubs including New York City's Town Hall and Eighty-Eight's; The Chicago Theatre; and the Gardenia, and Rose Tattoo in Los Angeles. She has performed to SRO crowds in headlining solo shows at the Park West, the legendary Pump Room, the Metropole, Gentry and George's. She has also made annual appearances at the Taste of Chicago, the Midwest's largest music festival.
