TONY ROBERTS HOSTS "SING FOR THEIR SUPPER" BENEFIT

AN EVENING OF CABARET, MUSICAL THEATRE AND COMEDY TO BENEFIT THE WEST SIDE CENTER FOR COMMUNITY LIFE, INC.

Broadway, film and television star, Tony Roberts, hosts an evening of Broadway stars and award-winning Cabaret singers in SING FOR THEIR SUPPER to support The West Side Center for Community Life, Inc. The benefit will take place on Sunday, June 29th at 8:00 pm at THE CHURCH OF ST. PAUL AND ST. ANDREW UNITED METHODIST (263 West 86th Street, NYC). Angel tickets are $100, and include preferred seating and a pre-concert champagne reception with the artists. General admission seating is $20. For tickets call 212-662-4744.

The performers from Broadway and Cabaret will include Barbara Brussel, Kimilee Bryant, Barbara Fasano, Ed Fry, David Gurland, Mark LeBlanc, Steven Lutvak, Dan Nainan, Charlotte Patton, KT Sullivan, Julie Wilson and surprise guest artists.

The West Side Center for Community Life, Inc. is a not-for-profit, tax-exempt corporation serving more than 3,000 people a week, and sponsors the following programs:

« The West Side Campaign Against Hunger (WSCAH), the largest food pantry in the city that feeds over 2,500 households monthly
« A homeless shelter
« The West Side Ecumenical Ministry to the Elderly (WEME) which prepares and delivers 500 meals-on-wheels to the home-bound and elderly living in central and northern Manhattan six days a week
« An after-school tutoring program
« An interfaith community of Christians, Jews and Muslims who are working together to find ways to better understand and communicate with each other

In December 2001, The Church of St. Paul and St. Andrew was named one of the nation's ten neediest church and synagogue buildings by Partners for Sacred Places. SING FOR THEIR SUPPER is a benefit to raise funds to accommodate the increased demand for services, which includes a capital campaign to renovate the facilities at The Church.
