Two
Young Vocalists Are "Equally Suited" at MAMA'S
Two
nineteen-year-old vocalists, Eric Heusinger & Seth Sikes present their
cabaret debut show, "Equally Suited" on Saturday, April 12th at 2:00
pm at DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 1-212-757-0788
- http://www.donttellmama.com/). Ryan J. Davis directs. Tickets are
$12, plus a 2-drink minimum.
Eric Heusinger has had
years of training and theater experience. In 2002, the Tri-County
Association of Pennsylvania awarded Eric first place in the solo classical
vocal performance division. Recently, Mr. Heusinger attended the Interlochen
Center for the Arts (where he was awarded the vocal arts award), has
given numerous recitals, and played leading roles in shows including
"Cabaret," "Triumph of Love," and "Once on This Island," with Conestoga
Musical Theatre and Forge Theatre. Presently, Eric studies classical
voice with Maitland Peters and coaches with Erica Rome at The Manhattan
School of Music.
Seth Sikes is a very talented
vocalist originally from Paris, Texas, where he made Texas All State
Choir three years in a row and was awarded the UIL Best Vocalist award.
Mr. Sikes attended Ann Reinking's Broadway Theatre Project, and currently
attends Circle in the Square Theatre Conservatory where he studies
musical theatre.
Director/producer Ryan
J. Davis (the producer of last year's "Hero's Benefit" at THE TRIAD)
brings the duo to the stage. Mr. Davis also produced the "Young Vocalist
Showcase" at last year's "Chip Deffaa Invitational."
