"LIFE'S
A STITCH, A Celebration of Love's Alterations," a musical, theatrical
evening, to raise funds for the Susan Love MD Breast Cancer Research
Foundation will be held on Saturday, June 14th, at THE ALEX THEATRE
(216 North Brand Boulevard, Glendale, CA - 818-243-2539 - http://www.alextheatre.org/).
The evening will be hosted by Andrea Marcovicci, directed by Kay Cole,
and produced by Adryan Russ and Anne Safran Dalin. Dalin's "Life's
A Stitch" is a collection of contemporary humor (see http://www.lifesastitch.net/)
by such contributors as Wendy Wasserstein, Delia Ephron, Anna Quindlen,
Kathy Najimy, and Gloria Steinem, that comes to life in theater and
song! Tickets are from $35 to $125.
Guest of Honor for the
evening is Dr. Susan Love, noted surgeon, researcher, and author of
"Dr. Susan Love's Breast Book" and "Dr. Susan Love's Hormone Book."
All proceeds benefit The Susan Love MD Breast Cancer Research Foundation
