Hilary Kole & Elyse Spies in "Sister Act!" At King Kong Room

Sisters Hilary Kole and Elyse Spies will be performing their original jazz/R&B/folk fusion vocals on stage at KING KONG ROOM at the Supper Club (240 West 47th Street, NYC - 1-212-921-1904 - http://www.KingKongRoom.com/ ) on Monday, August 11th at 8:30 pm. There will be a $20 cover and $15 food/drink minimum.

Singer, composer and arranger Hilary Kole is best known for co-creating and starring in the hit show, Our Sinatra, which was created for the Oak Room at the Algonquin Hotel, and subsequently ran Off-Broadway for several years. Her compositions have been performed by the New England Brass Quartet and the Manhattan School of Jazz Vocal Music Ensemble, among others.

Elyse Spies is a singer, songwriter, pianist, and flutist who was recently runner-up in the 2002 John Lennon Song Writing Competition. Her song, "Savior Man," was chosen by Spin Magazine to air on their nationally syndicated radio show. These bombshell sisters have blended their own unique styles and unmistakable vocal abilities to form a new music. With jazz, R&B, folk and classical backgrounds, they have taken the best of every genre and created their own unique sound.
