SIEGEL
TO PRODUCE THREE MORE SHOWS AT TOWN HALL!
Scott
Siegel announced today that, in addition to his four "Broadway by
the Year" shows at THE TOWN HALL (123 West 43rd Street, NYC - http://www.the-townhall-nyc.org/),
he will be producing three high profile evenings of cabaret at that
venerated 1,500 seat theater. Based on the success of the Broadway
by the Year series, Siegel was asked to produce, write and host Town
Hall's "World Cabaret Series" that will take place in March & April
of 2003.
Siegel has begun casting
all three shows and is proud to announce that Louise Pitre (Tony nominated
star of MAMMA MIA!) will headline an evening of French cabaret called
"Viva La Chanson" at Town Hall on Friday, March 7, 2003 at 8:00 pm.
She will be joined by Special Guest Star Amanda McBroom, and featured
artist Michel Herman. More stars will be announced later.
On
Friday, March 28, 2003 at 8:00 pm Siegel will present "Once in a Weill,"
a celebration of Kurt Weill and his relationship to German Kabarett.
Among those who will appear are Tony nominated star Sharon McNight,
the award winning Julie Reyburn, musical theater and cabaret artist
Douglas Ladnier, and others to be announced.
On Friday, April 4, 2003
at 8:00 pm the multi-award winning musical theater and cabaret great
Karen Mason will star in "Sentimental Journey," an evening of American
music circa World War II. Special Guest Star Tony-Winner Debbie Gravitte
joins her as will award-winning cabaret artists Karen Oberlin, Scott
Coulter, and others to be named later.
