SIEGELS' CD PICKS OF THE MONTH HONORS KAREN OBERLIN & BILL DAUGHERTY

TheaterMania's Barbara & Scott Siegel have chosen their next set of CDs in their recently launched hit "Picks of the Month" series at DILLON'S (245 West 54th Street, NYC - 212-307-9797). The award-winning Karen Oberlin will be honored for her CD "Secret Love: The Music of Doris Day" (Miranda Music) as will one of cabaret's most admired tenors Bill Daugherty for his first CD "Look to the Rainbow "(Thoroughbred Records). Ms. Oberlin and Mr. Daugherty will perform live at the club on Sunday, November 2nd at 7:00 pm (doors open for dinner at 6 PM). Special Guest Stars will be Eric Comstock and Connie Pachl. The legendary Jazz singer Annie Ross will be on hand to introduce Ms. Oberlin. Additional guest stars may be announced later. There is no cover charge and no minimum.

Sponsored by TheaterMania.com, this once-a-month celebration of cabaret's best CDs takes place on the first Sunday night of every month. Each honoree will perform approximately seven songs to show why they were picked. In addition, the selected CDs will be played throughout the night and featured on the restaurant's sound system for the rest of the month. Their CDs will be on sale on November 2nd and the honorees will be on hand to autograph them.

The first three shows of the series sold out, so reservations are strongly recommended.
