THE SIEGELS TO HOST CD NIGHT AT DILLON'S HERE

On Sunday, August 3rd at 7:00 pm TheaterMania.com and DILLON'S (245 West 54th Street, NYC - 212-307-9797) will come present a series saluting "The Best Cabaret CD's of Our Time." On the first Sunday night of every month, Barbara & Scott Siegel, who write the "Nightlife Notes" column on the TheaterMania website, will choose two CDs and will host a celebration in honor of the artists who created them. During the course of each evening the artists will also display why they were chosen as each of them performs as many as six songs of their choice. In addition, the selected CDs will be played throughout the night and featured on the restaurant's sound system for the rest of the month.

The first two picks chosen for the opening show are "Put a Little Love in Your Mouth: The Songs of Amanda Green" (Hook Records) and "Steven Lutvak: The Time it Takes" (Pemaco RD Records). Both of these songwriter/singers will perform on August 3rd. Guest stars are promised, as well. There will be no cover and no minimum, and diners at the show will enjoy a 15% discount off their bill.

Future CD's scheduled to be honored are "Scott Coulter" (LML Music) and "KT Sullivan: Ladies of the Silver Screen" (DRG). More to be announced later.

The Siegels also invite CD submissions. Send them to Barbara & Scott Siegel, 320 East 58th Street, #5B, NY, NY 10022.
