Sabella Sings the Music of David Friedman at THE DUPLEX
David
Sabella, who created the role of Mary Sunshine in the original Broadway
revival of "Chicago," brings his show "Trust the Wind - The Music
of David Friedman" to for four encore performances to THE DUPLEX CABARET

on March 7th, 14th and 28th at 9: 00 pm and April 4th at 7:00 pm.

"Trust the Wind"
features the songs of one of cabaret's favorite songwriters. The show
includes such favorites as "Help is On The Way," "Listen To My Heart,"
and "We Can Be Kind." Also included are some never-before heard, new
music, from this Mr. Friedman. The show also celebrates the publication
of "The David Friedman Song Book," now in stores.
In 1996, David starred
in the Broadway revival of "Chicago," along with Bebe Neuwirth, Ann
Reinking and Joel Grey. Off-Broadway theatre credits include "So Long
174th Street," "FOXY" and "Watch Your Step." His voice can also be
heard on several network television cartoon series, including "Teacher's
Pet" for Disney. As a Countertenor in classical music, he won The
Luciano Pavarotti International Voice Competition in 1995. David has
appeared twice on "The Rosie O'Donnell Show" and has been featured
in national magazines including Opera News, In Theater, Entertainment
Weekly and A&U. His personal caricature was unveiled in June of 1998
and hangs in Sardi's, the world-famous theater restaurant.
