JENNIFER ROBERTS RETURNS TO MANHATTAN FOR TWO ENCORE PERFORMANCES

After a successful December cabaret debut at Judy's Chelsea, Jennifer Roberts is back to celebrate her love for Manhattan with two shows at New York hot spot DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 1-212-757-0788 - http://www.donttellmama.com/) on Monday, April 21st at 6:00 pm and Tuesday, April 22nd at 10:00 pm. Directed by Andy Gale with technical direction by Shawn Moninger, "An Evening With Jennifer Roberts" features Janas's spectacular arrangements of songs from composers Leonard Bernstein, Alec Wilder, and Kurt Weill to Sheldon Harnick, Duke Ellington and Curtis Mayfield. Returning also is bass player Ritt Henn. There is a $15 cover, 2-drink minimum.

Jennifer, whose regional credits include Sarah Brown opposite Broadway leading man Tom Wopat in "Guys and Dolls," serves up entertaining, exhilarating, jazz-infused show that highlights her wide vocal range. Drawing on her own diverse and eclectic background   she's been a symphony soloist, motivational trainer, high school drama director, Opryland theme park singer and dancer, and travels the country as automotive spokeswoman-- Jennifer's heartfelt, theatrical performance showcases her unique blend of drama and humor.

Jennifer has appeared as Guenevere in "Camelot," directed by both Tod Booth, and in both the soprano and alto roles in several versions of "The All Night Strut," directed by Fran Charnas. She boasts numerous radio and television commercials and has appeared in dozens of industrial films and on television shows, including "Unsolved Mysteries." With a BFA in theater from Wayne State University in Detroit, Jennifer later studied acting with Uta Hagen. She recently signed with Motion Picture and Television Management Agency in Los Angeles, but her love for Manhattan's intimate cabaret experience continually draws her back to New York City.
