Jana Robbins Takes ONE HELL OF A RIDE! to The Walnut Street Theatre

Following sold-out runs in New York, Los Angeles & Chicago, actress/singer Jana Robbins will present her acclaimed show ONE HELL OF A RIDE! (The Songs of Cy Coleman) for one night only, on Monday, May 12th at THE WALNUT STREET THEATRE (825 Walnut Street, Philadelphia, PA - 215-574-3550) at 7:30 pm. She will be accompanied by her Musical Director Doyle Newmeyer. The show was originally scheduled for February 17th, but the "Blizzard of "03" had an appearance that night instead. Tickets are $27.

Jana Robbins first met Cy Coleman when she worked with him on his Broadway musical I LOVE MY WIFE. In this show, Jana pays tribute to Cy's genius as a writer for both Jazz and Broadway.

Jana's Broadway credits include GOOD NEWS (her debut), ROMANCE/ROMANCE, CRIMES OF THE HEART, GYPSY (Mazeppa & standby for Tyne Daly) & THE TALE OF THE ALLERGIST'S WIFE (as standby for both Valerie Harper & Michele Lee). She was last in Philadelphia at the Forrest Theatre starring opposite Valerie Harper in THE TALE OF THE ALLERGIST'S WIFE. Philadelphia audiences have seen Jana in FOOTLOOSE, GOOD NEWS, MAN OF LaMANCHA, ZORBA, BYE BYE BIRDIE with Bobby Rydell & CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF at the Walnut Street.
