Julie Reyburn at THE DUPLEX in "Inspired By"

Award winning vocalist, Julie Reyburn makes her DUPLEX CABARET THEATRE (61 Christopher Street, NYC - 1-212-255-5438 - http://www.theduplex.com/) debut with brand new show "INSPIRED BY," featuring Kevin Merritt, Ritt Henn, Matt Aiken and special guest David Gurland. The show will be presented on Tuesdays, March 4th, 11 and 25th at 9:00 pm. There is a $15 cover, 2-drink minimum.

"Inspired by" showcases Julie's original material as well as music, stories and people that have inspired her to write, perform, and sing.û Other highlights will include songs by New York songwriter Kevin Merritt as well as arrangements from the pop/country/jazz songbook including Marvin Gaye, Laura Nyro, John Prine, Bonnie Raitt, John Denver and Michael Holland.û With Kevin Merritt on guitar and piano, Ritt Henn on acoustic bass, Matt Aiken on percussionûand featuring very special guestû David Gurland.

Julie was last seen at THE DUPLEX as part of the New Mondays series in November 2002 where she previewed her original music alongside Julie Gold and Lina Koutrakos. She is excited to be returning for a full-length solo show. As part of the Storefront Theatre, Julie was last seen in the "Falsettos, Broadway Downtown Series" and "Dead Divas."
