Pringle & Burnell "Our Songs" Show Moves To ROSE'S TURN

Praised by Cabaret Hotline Online as "One of Chicago's Ten Best Shows of 2002", Anne Pringle and Mark Burnell will make a special return appearance to New York City with their critically acclaimed "Our Songs." The show has moved to UPSTAIRS AT ROSE'S TURN (55 Grove Street, NYC - 1-212-366-5438) due to the abrupt closing of JUDY'S CHELSEA. A cabaret performance of all original material written by Pringle and Burnell, the show will play at for two nights only: Sunday, March 30th and Monday, March 31st at 8:30 pm. There is a $12 cover charge and two drink minimum.

Anne Pringle and her compositions have been awarded two "Billboard Magazine Certificate of Achievement in Songwriting" awards while many of Burnell's arrangements have been published by the UNC Jazz Press. One of Chicago's favorite vocal duos, Anne and Mark have been praised by After Dark Chicago as "never less than dazzling and often downright brilliant - they are simply hypnotic and fairly unequaled in this town."

"Our Songs" is directed by Shelly Markham, one of the most sought after musical directors and arrangers in both Los Angeles and New York. Shelly had worked with such major artists as Lanie Kazan, the late Nell Carter, Margaret Whiting and Bonnie Franklin, as well as writing musical material for the TV shows Friends, The Nanny and The Golden Girls. Shelly regularly works with acclaimed cabaret vocalist Andrea Marcovicci and accompanies her in New York City at the Algonquin Hotel's Oak Room.

Pringle & Burnell's debut CD "Little Things We Do Together" earned them national critical acclaim and featured "Heaven Down Here" a love song co-written with actor/comic Jim Carrey. That song garnered airplay across the country on major adult contemporary radio stations.
