Pace Brings The "Big-Band" Era to MAMA'S

Jennifer Pace returns to DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC
- 1-212-757-0788 - http://www.donttellmama.com/)
in her critically acclaimed show "Every Goodbye is Hello" for two
nights only, Wednesdays at 10:00 pm, March 19th & 26th. A veteran
of the NYC nightclub and theater scene, Jennifer has garnered rave
reviews for her work and a 2003 MAC nomination. The show is directed
by award-winning director Lennie Watts, with musical direction from
her father Gary Pace. There is a $15 cover, 2-drink minimum.
Jennifer is a third-generation
performer destined both genetically and environmentally for a music
career. Her grandfather, Sal Pace, was a noted big band and Dixieland
clarinetist and saxophonist who played with Louis Armstrong, Bunny
Berrigan and Charlie Spivak. Her father, Gary Pace, is an established
New York pianist noted for his keyboard finesse and arranging skills.
Joined by a jazz trio,
Jennifer belts the classics including "It's Only a Paper Moon," "After
You've Gone," "Stardust," "I Hear Music" and "Little Girl Blue."û
