MIRACLE ON 47TH STREET AT KING KONG ROOM

Celebrating the Season With Carols, Old and New On December 15 at 7:00 & 9:00 pm, THE KING KONG ROOM at the Supper Club (240 West 47th Street, NYC - 1-212-921-1904 - http://www.KingKongRoom.com/) will be ringing in the HOLIDAY season with MIRACLE ON 47th STREET, a one-night-only concert of new holiday songs as well as invigorating takes on some of your favorite seasonal tuners. Scheduled to perform ate Laura Benanti, Stephanie Block, Max von Essen, Deven May, Julia Murney, and John Tartaglia. They will be performing new songs from writers including: Larry O'Keefe, Jenny Giering & Beth Blatt, Pat Rasile , Stephen Flaherty & Lynn Ahrens. The evening will be directed and produced by Jamie McGonnigal with musical direction by Mark Hartman. A portion of the proceeds from the event will be used to benefit God's Love We Deliver. All seats are $25 with a $15 food and drink minimum.

God's Love We Deliver's mission is to improve the health and well-being of men, women and children living with HIV/AIDS and other serious illnesses by alleviating hunger and malnutrition. GLWD prepares and delivers nutritious, high-quality meals to people who, because of their illness, are unable to provide or prepare meals for themselves. GLWD also provides illness-specific nutrition education and counseling to clients, families, care providers and other service organizations. GLWD provides volunteer opportunities in their kitchen, with delivering meals, and in their offices for all people who wish to assist people living with serious illnesses. Their services are provided free of charge and they act out of a sense of responsibility to help those in need. They act out of a sense of urgency because hunger cannot wait. GLWD is committed to grow and change in response to their clients' changing needs.
