Making Miracles! - A BENEFIT FOR MIRACLE HOUSE HERE -

On Monday, November 17th, New York's finest performers and writers collaborate to benefit one of New York's most worthy organizations at BRANCH (226 East 54th Street, NYC - RESV: 212-989-7790 ext.12). From 6:00 to 7:30 pm there will be a Cocktail Reception, with performance at 7:30 pm. New songs by today's brightest composers and lyricists will be performed by some of Broadway and Cabaret's greatest talents - all to benefit Miracle House! Directed and Hosted by John Znidarsic, the show is produced by Stephen Alfieri. Ticket prices run from $40 to $1000.

FEATURED ARTISTS (Scheduled to perform) are Manna Allen (Merrily We Roll Along, Smile), Tom Andersen (5-time MAC award winning singer/songwriter), Terry Burrell (Thoroughly Modern Millie, Dreamgirls), Stephanie D'Abruzzo (Avenue Q), George Dvorsky (Pete n' Keely), Maree Johnson (Phantom of the Opera), Jeffrey Khaner (Philadelphia Orchestra Principal Flutist), Eddie Korbich (Assassins, Carousel, Wicked), Alix Korey & David Friedman (Listen to My Heart), Heather MacRae (Falsettos, Songs for My Father), Karen Mason (Sunset Boulevard, Mamma Mia, 6-time MAC Award Winner), Phillip Officer (Hoagy on My Mind) and Colleen Whelihan (Sky High).

CONTRIBUTING COMPOSERS AND LYRICISTS are Tom Andersen, Leslie Becker, Patrick Dwyer, David Friedman, Zina Goldrich & Marcy Heisler, Sean Hartley & Jihwan Kim, Ron Kaehler, David Krane, Brian Lasser, Bruce MacRae, Ben Moore, Robert Lindsey Nassif, Michael Ogborn and Richard Pearson Thomas.

Miracle House (http://www.miraclehouse.org/) provides universally affordable housing and support services to the visiting families and friends of people living with AIDS or Cancer - as well as cancer patients and their caregivers. Miracle House is the only organization in New York devoted to helping these caregivers, many of who could not otherwise manage the cost of staying in New York.
