MARIEANN MERINGOLO PRESENTS NEW CD AT THE DUPLEX

Marieann Meringolo, recipient of the Back Stage Bistro Award for "Outstanding Vocalist" and nominated for the prestigious GLAMA Award for "Debut Artist" for her first CD, "Hold Me Close," has produced her second solo CD, IMAGINE ... IF WE ONLY HAVE LOVE, a collection of much loved popular songs and inspirational new works. After her CD release concert at JOE'S PUB on Sunday, August 17th Marieann and her band will also be appearing at THE DUPLEX CABARET THEATRE (61 Christopher Street, NYC - 1-212-255-5438 - http://www.theduplex.com/ ) every Thursday in September. Dates are September 4th, 11th, 18th & 25th, all performances at 7:00 pm. There is a $12 cover, 2-drink minimum. Marieann will be joined by Doyle Newmyer (piano & keyboards), John Loehrke (bass) and Nydia "Liberty" Mata (drums & percussion).

Marieann has had the honor of being a recipient of the King Features EVVY Award for "Best National Cabaret Act," and the New York Native Award for "Best Solo Performance."
