by Fynsworth Alley, featuring three newly recorded bonus tracks. "Works

In addition to her chart-topping
recording history, Ms. McGovern is best known for her celebrated renditions
of the songs of George and Ira Gershwin, which brought her center
stage at the Emmy Award winning PBS/CBS special, "Celebrating Gershwin,"
as well as to the London Palladium for the George Gershwin Centennial
Celebration and her solo engagement at Carnegie Hall. Ms. McGovern
went on to perform in the Centennial Celebrations of Irving Berlin,
Oscar Hammerstein and Cole Porter, as well as extensive tours with
Mel Torme, the Duke Ellington Orchestra and John Pizzarelli. Her list
of credits spans recordings, concerts, Broadway, films, television
and radio. Ms. McGovern recently starred opposite Ben Affleck in the
Dreamworks animated classic Joseph, made her dramatic debut as Eleanor
of Aquitaine in The Lion in Winter and originated the role of Eleanor
Bridges in Letters from Nam. Another recent highlight was spending
last summer at the Sundance Institute portraying the Countess Aurelia
in a new version of the Jerry Herman musical "Dear World."
