6 MAC-Member Clubs To Join Month-Long Grammy Fest 2003 Celebration

The Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs (MAC) joins the Recording Academy and the New York Grammy Host Committee in celebrating the 5th Annual Grammy Fest, a month-long celebration showcasing the vitality, quality and diversity of the New York cultural community. The week of February 8-15, six MAC-member clubs are hosting MAC Salutes the Grammys events. All events are $15 with a $10 discount for MAC and NARAS members:

Saturday, February 8th at 7:30 pm, DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 1-212-757-0788 - http://www.donttellmama.com/), "Gashole Salutes the Grammys" with Karen Mack and Michael Holland, directed by Lennie Watts, musical direction by Michael Holland.

Sunday, February 9th at 7:30 pm, THE TRIAD (158 West 72nd Street, NYC - 1-212-362-2590), "Morgan Ames Salutes the Grammys" Morgan Ames, Grammy Award-winning composer of songs (with Johnny Mandel, Henry Mancini and Bob James) and winner of two Grammys as Record Producer for Diane Schur and the Count Basie Orchestra.

Monday, February 10th at 7:30 pm, THE DUPLEX CABARET THEATRE (61 Christopher Street, NYC - 1-212-255-5438 - http://www.theduplex.com/), Celebrating Grammy Award-winning Broadway Cast Albums with special guest composers and singers from Broadway.
