Peter Mac Salutes Judy Garland at ROSE'S TURN

JP Productions is pleased to announce it's new production: Peter Mac is " A Friend of Judy's." The show will play Upstairs at UPSTAIRS AT ROSE'S TURN (55 Grove Street, NYC - 1-212-366-5438 - http://www.rosesturn.com/) on Saturday July 26th and Saturday August 2nd at 9:00 pm. There is a $10 cover charge, and 2-drink minimum. The show is a tribute to the icon and rather then exploiting Garland's frailties, Mac plays "the other side of the rainbow," celebrating Garlands music and great wit.

The show plays in the style of one of her concerts/television specials and under the musical direction of Rich McDermott, Judy will perform songs by Harold Arlen, Frank Loesser, Irving Berlin and Rodgers and Hart among others. Mac is no stranger to playing the legendary Garland. He has been playing the rainbow diva for the past year in the hit off-off Broadway play, "Judy and Me" (based on his life) in which Garland helps a gay teen through the traumas of coming out. Peter Mac made his off Broadway debut baring it all with gay porn legend Ryan Idol in Ronnie Larsen's comedy, "Making Porn."
