MARTHA LORIN PERFORMS "CLOSE ENOUGH FOR LOVE" JUDY'S CHELSEA

Jazz singer Martha Lorin brings her new show "Close Enough For Love" to JUDY'S CHELSEA (169 Eighth Avenue, NYC - 1-212-929-5410 - http://www.judyschelsea.com/), Wednesdays, February 5th, 12th, 19th & 26th at 8:30 pm. There will be a $15.00 music charge and a $12.00 food/drink minimum.

"Close Enough For Love" is an eclectic mix of the best of n from Martha's recordings: "The Best Is Yet To Come," "The Time Is Now," "A Celebration Of Ella - Martha Lorin Sings The Ella Fitzgerald Songbook," and "Come Walk With Me, with additional selections from her CDs in progress "Blues Over Broadway" and Charles Osgood's "Freedom Sings." Martha will perform her newest original song, "Coney Island," and a selection from a show currently in development of songs written by Martha and her mother Margaret Dalton as well as songs from Billy Strayhorn, Irving Berlin and Harold Arlen, to Rodgers & Hammerstein, Martin Charnin and Billy Barnes.

Prior to this, Martha's most recent critical acclaim comes from her fall show "Americana," a selection of songs from Charles Osgood's soon to be released CD at Judy's Chelsea, and "BROADway," an evening of jazz versions of Broadway songs with Jane Scheckter and Trudi Mann at Danny's.
