Rick Jensen's WHILE LOVE HOLDS ON Encores at THE DUPLEX

Award winning singer/songwriter Rick Jensen returns to THE DUPLEX CABARET THEATRE (61 Christopher Street, NYC - 1-212-255-5438 - http://www.theduplex.com/) for two encore performances on December 1st and 8th at 7:00 pm. Steve Bargonetti is featured on guitar and Anne Steele is Rick's special guest. This engagement, which began at The Duplex in July, features new songs Rick has written in preparation for his next CD. There is a $15.00 cover charge and a 2-drink minimum.

Rick is the recipient of 2 GLAMA Awards, 2 Back Stage Bistro Awards, and is a 4-time MAC Award Winner. His critically acclaimed CD, SPRING HARVEST was nominated for a MAC Award for Outstanding Recording, and cited in the Village Voice as an album worthy of Grammy consideration.

As a singer/songwriter, Rick has appeared at many of New York's intimate music venues, including Weill Recital Hall where, along with Michael Feinstein, he was featured in a tribute to Sammy Cahn. Other engagements include Town Hall, The FireBird Cafe, The Plush Room, The Gardenia, and in concert at the Rosslyn Spectrum Theatre in Washington DC.

One of the most talented and versatile musicians working today, Rick has also distinguished himself as a musical director and record producer. His work with cabaret legend Nancy LaMott lead to her definitive recording of Rick's classic song, "In Passing Years." Since then, under the umbrella of his production company, The Doctor is in Music, Rick has co-produced Barbara Fasano's CD, THE GIRLS OF SUMMER (Back Stage Bistro Award for Outstanding Recording), Jeanne MacDonald's CD, COMPANY (MAC Award nomination), and Sean Hayden's CD CONFIDENTIALLY COLE, (a ground breaking recording with original arrangements by Rick.)
