Regina
Jabbour brings her debut solo Cabaret show to DANNY'S SKYLIGHT ROOM
(342 West 46th Street, NYC - 1-212-265-8133 - http://www.dannysgrandseapalace.com/),
for an initial two-night run on Sundays, May 18th and June 8th Show
times are at 7:00 pm. Joining her on stage will be the well known
and highly accomplished pianist, vocal coach and musical director,
Steven Cirillo. The show is directed by Kevin Scott Hall. There is
a $10 cover and $10 food/drink minimum for the shows.
Regina calls her show
"Female Trouble," a humorous, funky and tender look at a New York
woman's Odyssey down the road of love. Regina is said to have the
wry humor of Mae West, the sultry beauty of Jane Russell and the clean
vocal delivery of Doris Day. The song list includes selections by
various masters such as Cy Coleman, Oscar Hammerstein, Lorenz Hart,
Murray Grand, Charles Trenet and more.
Regina Jabbour is originally
from Brooklyn, New York and is one of six sisters. Known as the Brooklyn
version of the "Gabor Sisters" they are all singers. Regina began
performing in High School with her school choir. She is a member of
the Unity of New York Choir. Regina is also an attorney, animal lover
and a talented painter. But singing is her first love.
