After a successful solo cabaret debut earlier this year, singer Jennifer Del Rio again performs her show, "The Human Heart" at DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 1-212-757-0788 - http://www.donttellmama.com/) with 5 performances in September. The former Miss USO, 2001 sings melodies from such diverse composers as Carole King, George Gershwin, Irving Berlin, Johnny Nash, and Frank Loesser. Shows are scheduled fro Friday, September 5th at 8:30 pm and Saturday & Sunday, September 6th & 7th at 7:00 pm, and Friday, September 12th at 8:30 pm and Sunday, September 14th at 7:30 pm. There is a $15 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

While the theme of this show is a reflection of the connection between music and experiences of the heart, it will touch on issues as diverse as finding true love in a Pathmark produce aisle, and healing in the aftermath of the devastation of the World Trade Center disaster.

The Human Heart is produced by Jeff Landsman, and directed by James Horvath. Fran Minarik is the musical director; he is also responsible for the arrangements.
