"Combaret" Combines Cabaret With Comedy at Upstairs@RED

"Combaret," a unique combination of magical cabaret and fast-paced stand-up comedy, is now kicking off at UPSTAIRS @ RED (356 West 44th Street, NYC - 212-562-3307) on July 19th at 9:00 pm. Combaret's debut features a special all-women line-up with Stacey Prussman as host, as well as Leanna Conley, Colleen Davie, Jessie Nelson, Linda Bell, Palma Florentino and headliner Kim Cea. Tickets are $15 with a dinner/show package available for $40.

"Combaret" is the brainchild of veteran performance and event videographer Jim Vern. For 15 years Jim has literally surveyed thousands of talented comedians and cabaret performers, such as 2003 MAC Award winners Kim Cea and Rock Albers. Vern started producing comedy with his show called "Comedy X7" at UPSTAIRS AT ROSE'S TURN (55 Grove Street, NYC - 1-212-366-5438 - http://www.rosesturn.com/) in September of 1991.
