MYCHELLE COLLEARY'S FROM ALCATRAZ TO SINGSING RETURNS TO DANNY'S

New York/San Francisco singer Mychelle Colleary returns with her critically acclaimed show "From Alcatraz To SingSing" to DANNY'S SKYLIGHT ROOM (342 West 46th Street, NYC - 1-212-265-8133 - http://www.dannysgrandseapalace.com/) on Wednesday, January 29th at 9:15 pm, Friday, January 31st at 7:00 pm, Sunday, March 2nd at 8:45 pm, and Thursday, March 6th at 9:15 pm. "From Alcatraz To SingSing" will feature selections from Mychelle's current CD "After Hours at the Plush Room," as well as tales of escaping from Politically Correctness Fascism to the land of idiosyncratic rules. There will be a $15.00 music charge and a $10.00 food/drink minimum.

Mychelle made her NYC debut with her critically acclaimed show "What If The Hokey Pokey IS What It's All About?," followed by the bi-coastal release of "After Hours at the Plush Room." In San Francisco Mychelle hosted the ongoing Song of the Month Club at MARTUNI'S (4 Valencia Street, San Francisco, CA - 415-241-0205) and performed with the female vocal trio The Kitchenettes; She also performed at the 2000 and 2001 San Francisco "Teddy Cares" benefits.

Mychelle has shared the stage with such jazz greats as Bobby McFerrin, Richie Cole, Claire Fisher and Carl Anderson. Bay Area audiences have heard Mychelle perform folk-rock at the Fillmore, Turkish Sufi music at the Palace of Fine Arts, and Bach with the San Jose Symphony Orchestra. Mychelle's original songs can be found on her debut CD "Analgesic," released in 1999.
