NEW COLE PORTER REVUE "LET'S FALL IN LOVE" AT ARCLIGHT THEATRE

Top Broadway performers Denise Di Renzo, David Elder And Jamie Torcellini will moonlight from their regular gigs on Broadway, to star in a new Cole Porter musical revue, "LET'S FALL IN LOVE" at the ARCLIGHT THEATRE (152 West 71st Street, NYC - 212-560-5573), five performances only, Sunday, June 1st at 8:30 pm, and Mondays, June 2nd & 9th at 7:00 & 9:30 pm. Between them, Denise, Jamie and David have appeared in 17 Broadway productions, numerous national tours, and can be heard on many original cast albums. Musical Director/pianist for "Let's Fall in Love" is Dave Brunetti, with Steve La Spina on bass and Rex Benincasa on drums. Tickets are $25.

Denise Di Renzo, who conceived and choreographed "LET'S FALL IN LOVE," has starred on Broadway in CATS, A CHORUS LINE, the original casts of 42nd STREET and SOPHISTOCATED LADIES with Gregory Hines. She has also performed numerous roles regionally including Trina in FALSETTOS, Peter in PETER PAN, Audrey in LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, Yum Yum in HOT MIKADO, Mary Magdalene in JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR and Sarah in GUYS AND DOLLS. Denise directed, choreographed and starred in the musical revue BROADWAY RHYTHM which toured Europe and Japan. Her one woman show has played to sell out crowds at The Village Gate, Eighty Eights, Don't Tell Mamas, The West Bank Cafe and Judy's Chelsea. Her recently-released CD "Sweet Refrain" has received excellent reviews. Her son Cole is named for Cole Porter.

David Elder is currently starring on Broadway as Billy Lawlor in 42nd STREET for which he received Outer Critics Circle and Astaire Award nominations. He played the set-climbing daredevil Bill Calhoun in the Tony-winning revival of KISS ME KATE. His other Broadway shows include TITANIC, ONCE UPON A MATTRESS, DAMN YANKEES, BEAUTY & THE BEAST and GUYS AND DOLLS. He toured the country as Joe Hardy opposite Jerry Lewis in DAMN YANKEES and received accolades for his performance as tapping Timothy Harper in the City Center Encores! Production of "Strike Up The Band." His TV and film credits include "Jeffrey", "Cradle Will Rock" and Guiding Light.

Jamie Torcellini is currently playing The Barber in the Broadway revival of MAN OF LA MANCHA. His other Broadway roles include Lefou in BEAUTY & THE BEAST, Mr. Mistoffelees in CATS, plus leading roles in JEROME ROBBINS' BROADWAY, ME AND MY GIRL and LITTLE JOHNNY JONES. In addition to starring in the national companies of CATS, JEROME ROBBINS' BROADWAY, ME AND MY GIRL, WHERE'S CHARLIE?, A CHORUS LINE, etc., Jamie appears often on TV in such popular series as "Law and Order" and 'Sabrina."
