CHICAGO CABARET FAVORITES CELEBRATE THE MUSIC OF IRVING BERLIN

Three of Chicago's most popular cabaret performers, Joan Curto, Tom Michael and MaryMonica Thomas, join Jeff Award-winning musical director Dan Stetzel to present "The Songs of Irving Berlin: An American Romance" at DAVENPORT'S Piano Bar & Cabaret (1383 North Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago, IL - 773-278-1830 - http://www.davenportspianobar.com/), October 8th through 18th. Show times are 8:00 pm, Wednesdays through Saturdays and 7:00 pm on Sunday the 12th. There is a $20 cover charge and 2-drink minimum. Reservations are highly recommended.

Directed by Ron Cohn, "The Songs of Irving Berlin: An American Romance" will cover the many facets of Berlin's career including his Broadway, pop, patriotic, and movie repertoire. The show will feature over thirty of Berlin's most beloved songs such as "How Deep is the Ocean," "Alexander's Ragtime Band," "Always," and "Blue Skies," as well as lesser known gems including "Dance and Grow Thin" and "Reaching for the Moon," and "When This Crazy World is Sane Again."
