"BROADWAY BY THE YEAR" IS RETURNS TO TOWN HALL IN 2003!

Scott Siegel has announced the 2003 season of "Broadway by the Year" at THE TOWN HALL (123 West 43rd Street, NYC - http://www.the-townhall-nyc.org/). The critically acclaimed series, which played to a sell-out crowd last June 10th, returns with four shows beginning Monday February 17th, 2003 to celebrate "The Broadway Musicals of 1925." This first show will highlight the seminal songs of Rodgers & Hart, Kern, Harbach & Hammerstein, The Gershwins, and every Irving from Berlin to Caeser. It will be followed by "The Broadway Musicals of 1939" on Monday, March 17th, 2003 with songs from shows like Du Barry was a Lady, The Straw Hat Review, and The Hot Mikado. Monday May 12th, 2003 brings "The Broadway Musicals of 1953" featuring music from such Broadway classics as Kismet, Can-Can, and Wonderful Town. The season concludes on June 9th, 2003 with "The Broadway Musicals of 1960." That was the year of Bye Bye Birdie.

This concert series has been the place where cabaret and musical theatre meet and meld. "Broadway by the Year" has pioneered the combination of Broadway and Cabaret performers with stunning results. The first three Broadway by the Year CDs have been released on the Bayview Recording label, instantly becoming best-sellers.
