"Winter Warm: Songs For The Solstice" in Natick

Sophia Bilides will present "Winter Warm: Songs For The Solstice" at THE CENTER FOR ARTS IN NATICK (31 Main Street, Natick, MA - 508-647-0097 - http://www.natickarts.org/) on Friday, December 19th at 8:00 pm. "Winter Warm" is a seasonal show for the chill-challenged, a solstice celebration for the daylight-deprived, and a secular cabaret for the holiday-harried. Musical director is Doug Hammer. Tickets are $15 in advance, $17 day of show.

"Winter Warm" debuted last year in Cambridge, MA. The song list is a potpourri of American Songbook standards and rarities, comic contemporary numbers, evocative folk songs, and light jazz, all chosen with an eye to surviving until spring.
