JORDAN BEST LIVE AT KABARETT JUNCTION

KABARETT JUNCTION (139 Oxford Street, Bondi Junction, Sydney, AU - 1300 136 166- http://www.showtune.com.au) is proud to announce that acclaimed singer/songwriter Jordan Best will be appearing for one show only on Saturday, March 15th from 8:00 pm. The daughter of songwriter Peter Best, Jordan has a catalogue of over fifty songs and has performed in Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra as well as giving acting a bash at the Victorian College of the Arts. Tickets are available through TicketMaster7 on 1300 136 166, http://www.ticketmaster7.com or from any TicketMaster7 outlet.

With songs that range from true love ( "I took your favorite CDs, and slept with your best friend, being in love is one thing but there's nothing like revenge") through innocence (If this is just some meaningless fling, let's make the f***ing most of it, let's make the most of f***ing and take it as it comes) and reflective ("Margarita walks into a bar, she's poured into a red dress and she walks like a panther") to social protest ("There's a redback spider and he's building a nest, outside my back door ... I'm not afraid of him any more though, because we have an understanding") her work is as complex and unpredictable as Afghanistan.

From the drunken night when it all began, to the present day, you will join Jordan on a musical journey through broken hearts, swollen parts, and a very low cut top. Imagine Joni Mitchell with a sense of humour, Sade with a decent vocal range, Geoff Buckley in a black dress and you're imagining Jordan Best.
