Chris Barrett Returns to The Hamptons

Appears For The Season at The Maidstone Arms Inn & Restaurant

Internationally acclaimed and award winning cabaret singer/pianist Chris Barrett returns to the East End for his 24th season with an engagement at THE MAIDSTONE ARMS INN & RESTAURANT (Main Street, East Hampton, NY - 631-324Ý5006). Barrett will perform Mondays and Tuesdays 6:30 to 10:30 pm throughout the summer.

Barrett's impeccable diction and pitch, his fluid liquid baritone combined with his seemingly inexhaustible catalogue of great songs by the likes of Noel Coward, Ivor Novello, Cole Porter and Rodgers & Hart have made him a favorite of audiences here and abroad. Major engagements have taken him to the finest rooms: The Bel-Air Hotel in Los Angeles, New York's Carlyle Hotel, The Cipriani in Venice and to London's fabled Berkley Hotel. He is a regular fixture on the golden triangle Ý Palm Beach Ý The Hamptons Ý New York and is currently ensconced at The FireBird Russian Restaurant on New York's Restaurant Row.

Along with invitations to perform for HRH: The Duke of Edinburgh, Presidents Richard Nixon, Ronald Regan, Barrett was commissioned by The Smithsonian Institution to celebrate in concert, Cole Porter's Centennial. Recently he drew critical raves as ¯featured artist" with The Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra.

The Backstage Bistro Award winner, Chris Barrett has four recordings to his credit. His most recent release "The Best Is Yet To Come," features the extraordinary piano of legendary jazz artist, Dr. Joe Utterbach for the prestigious Connoisseur Society.

Currently, Barrett is developing two new cabaret shows that will allow him to further define himself as a cabaret artist. Selections from these shows will be included in his Maidstone Arms engagement.
