ED ALSTROM ACID CABARET RETURNS TO DANNY'S

Singer/songwriter Ed Alstrom and Acid Cabaret returns to DANNY'S SKYLIGHT ROOM (342 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-265-8133 - http://www.dannysgrandseapalace.com/), on Mondays, February 3rd & 10th at 9:15 pm. There will be a $12 music charge and a $10 food/drink minimum.

Ed Alstrom and Acid Cabaret burst onto the scene early last year in his critically acclaimed NYC cabaret debut. Featuring Ed on vocals and piano, with Sue Williams on bass and Don Guinta on drums, Acid Cabaret presents an eclectic mix of the acerbic to the obscure; from Broadway, blues, R&B, standards and classic rock to New Orleans, novelty tunes, bebop, opera and quirky originals.

Last fall Ed received critical acclaim as the musical director for Darlene Love and Freda Payne's "Love & Payne" show at Feinstein's; and recently for Darlene Love's Chnstmas Concert at the newly renovated Symphony Space. Ed has recorded extensively, and his Broadway credits include "Leader of the Pack" and "Smokey Joe's Cafe." He has performed with Bette Midler, Chuck Berry, Leonard Bernstein, Herbie Hancock, Zubin Mehta, Lou Rawls, and many others notables.
