Vocalist Dane Vannatter and Ensemble Perform at Regattabar

Two Shows Set For Friday, May 17th

Dane Vannatter performs two shows on Friday, May 17th at 7:30 and 10:00 pm at REGATTABAR in the Charles Hotel (One Bennett Street, Cambridge, MA - 617-876-7777). Mr. Vannatter will be accompanied by Bill Duffy on piano, David Landoni on bass, George Farrell on drums, John Baboian on guitar, Kenny Wentzel on horns and flute, Ricardo Monzon on percussion and vocalist Athene Wilson. 15-year old saxophone wizard Dan Schein will be special guest for both shows.

Vannatter's recently released third CD, "Double Standards," is a new collection of the swinging and soulful standards of Rodgers & Hart, Hoagy Carmichael, Sondheim and Boston's own Ellen Ophir ("Paint Me a Leaf").

Vannatter is recipient of the prestigious BACK STAGE magazine Bistro Award for Outstanding Achievement in Recording for his second CD "Flight."
