Tyrell evokes the sensuous warmth of the wintry fireside with a swinging collection of yuletide standards rekindling the romance and magic of the season. His distinctive style has earned the acclaim of musicians, critics and fans alike. Featured songs include "The Christmas Song," "I'll Be Home for Christmas," "Merry Christmas Baby" and the Frank Loesser ballad "What Are You Doing on New Year's Eve?" His previous albums, "A New Standard" and "Standard Time," topped the Billboard jazz charts for weeks.

Steve Tyrell has achieved great success over the course of four decades as a songwriter, producer and performer. He is the author behind such pop hits as the chart-topping "How Do You Talk To An Angel" and producer of Linda Ronstadt's Grammy-winning "Don't Know Much" (a duet with Aaron Neville) and "Somewhere Out There" (a duet with James Ingram). He has worked with famed songwriters Burt Bacharach & Hal David, Gerry Goffin & Carole King and Barry Mann & Cynthia Weill. He produced the Bacharach/David-penned "Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head," winner of the 1970 Academy Award for Best Song.
