Liza's Back at Mama's!!

Three-time MAC Nominated, Bistro Award Winning Singer/Comic Rick Skye is encoring his new show "A Slice O' Minnelli" at DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788 - http://www.donttellmama.com/) on three Sundays in December. Conceived, written, directed and costumed by Mr. Skye, this Valentine to Mrs. Show Biz returns on Sundays, December 8th and 22nd at 9:30 pm and Sunday, December 29th at 9:00 pm. The wonderful Mark Hartman is Musical Director and plays on stage foil to Miss Minnelli. There is a $10.00 cover and a 2-drink minimum.

Audiences familiar with Mr. Skye's work in such extravaganza's as the critically acclaimed "Flip Side of Neil Sedaka" and last year's "MACABARET - a tabloid fable," have come to expect evenings jam-packed with original special material, outrageous comedy and old-fashioned razzmatazz. "A Slice O' Minnelli" continues this tradition and boasts enough sequins to float the titanic.

This sly take on an evening with the fabulous Liza also includes a production number recapping her amazing career, a "new" song by Charles Aznavour, her screen-test for the upcoming big screen musical version of "Sunset Boulevard," an Ode to Betty Ford and a tribute to one(!) of her legendary parents.

Mr. Skye recently appeared at the TeddyCare benefit at the THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATER (407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909) and can be heard on Jamie De Roy's latest CD "The Child in Me - Family", singing a Neil Sedaka song entitled "Little Brother".
