Gallagher, Lina Koutrakos, Nan Selle and Shelly Markham as well as
legendary songwriters like Burt Bacharach, Maltby & Shire, Henry Mancini,

Acclaimed for his heartfelt
interpretations of contemporary and standard songs, the new show will
celebrate passages of life and love that are part of our landscape
as seen through the eyes of this dreamer and his muse. Since his debut
two years ago at DON'T TELL MAMA, Marcus has been embraced by many
luminaries and numerous new fans from the cabaret and theater community
for his unique vocal abilities, interpretive skills and star-quality
stage presence. He was recently honored by the Manhattan Association
of Cabarets & Clubs (MAC), receiving his first MAC nomination as Outstanding
Male Vocalist in 2002. He is also the winner of the 2002 Cabaret Hotline
male vocalist award.
A veteran jazz/R&B/pop
singer for over ten years with various bands in the Tri-state area,
Brooklyn-born Marcus has built a following of devoted fans touched
by his evocative interpretations of songs from the heart. Frequently
compared to Johnny Mathis and Marc Anthony, he was a finalist on "Star
Search" and appeared on NBC-TV's "Showtime at The Apollo."
